Blog Response #13

I like his work because even though they are pictures of nothing they still look interesting. Also some of the pictures you can't exactly tell what the picture is of so it makes you wonder. Lastly the pictures are plain but still interesting.

I did do the 3 worksheets. I have also done the comp.tech and the student comp.tech. I have done the portraits but I have not done the nature. I did fill out an evaluation sheet for each assignment.

Blog Response #11

I think that the aspect of my life that would make a good series would be my family out at dinner or just in a public place in general. It would be a good series because it would definitely be interesting. The best one is with the cereal on the floor by the stairs and the kids kind of looking at it and one kid trying to clean it up.

I think that if a ID photo doesn't look like you then there is no point of using them as an ID. The point of an ID is to be able to identify you and if the picture doesn't look like you then what is it for. I think photographers shouldn't change the picture so much that it looks like someone else. A few touch- ups is okay but not a different looking face.

I think I would want to take photos in London. If i won the lottery I would want to go to Canada because I think that it is very pretty. If I could own a photo book of a certain place on earth it would have to be London or Canada.

Blog Response #8

One picture that stuck in my head was the one of the black man laying on the ground almost in a ball, covering his face. I think photographing an issue like this can solve the problem by showing that they actually are desperate and not just faking it. These portraits are so good because they make people feel something for these people.

If I could photograph a celebrity I would want it to be Marilyn Monroe. He was a very black and white oriented person. I think that they do what they want to an extent.
